, over Marienthal , Försterhof until Ahrweiler . Dernau : you walk in the Ahr valley (about 20 km from the German city of Bonn) on the red trail
of Ahr community Dernau towards the county town of Ahrweiler (AW), then meet the wanderer every step of the buildings, which point to the over 40 years as a "top secret" classified bunker "alternative seat of the federal government."

The main entrance (left) to the entrance building (BW 223) part of the plant West / West is located on the railway line of the old, unfinished Ahrtalbahn of 1922. Clearly the old railway bridge on the railway line can be seen. In this bridge the road leads to Dernau.

Försterhof
you walk on through the vineyards towards the county town of Ahrweiler, we find here traces of the bunker system. Försterhof in the vineyards
In the background is seen the tower of the Dalmatian mountain. at the site of absorption is 40 m below the rock divides the bunker in the two autonomous regions East / West and East / West.

Für die Wachen an den Antennen-Anlagen ist ein dienstlicher Plumps-Klo eingerichtet.
Aussenanlage Bei der Wanderung durch den Wald Richtung Ahrweiler (Café Hohenzollern) findet man verschiedene Supply and exhaust equipment and escape routes.

Old Railway Bridge
the East Entrance / East can be reached by the little old railway bridge above Ahrweiler. This arch is a remnant of the unfinished Ahrtalbahn of 1922, the tunnel is the basic skeleton of the bunker.
